SM WR FR – Constant/Fixed Value Temperature Controller for Heating and Cooling Systems

Areas of application

The SM WR FR is suitable for maintaining a high return temperature, controlling underfloor heating systems, and anywhere constant temperatures are required. It operates in both heating and cooling systems and adapts to different hydraulic requirements.

Color display and operation

The integrated color display shows the base temperatures during operation and automatically adjusts the display to the controller's installation position. Four control buttons for convenient adjustment of all parameters are located below the manual control knob.

When the manual switch is activated, the drive is switched off for energy-saving reasons, allowing settings to be adjusted directly without unnecessary power consumption.

Assembly and connection

The actuator is equipped with a special mounting flange; the mounting/dismounting button allows for easy, tool-free attachment to the mixer or valve, as well as quick removal. Pre-assembled connection cables for mains power and temperature sensors make the device immediately ready for operation.

commissioning

Initial commissioning is carried out via a startup wizard that guides the user through the selection of the application (heating or cooling) and hydraulic system (return or supply temperature control). The operating parameters can then be adjusted as needed.

Safety and reliability

The control system is designed so that the controller will not be damaged even if the drive is blocked for an extended period. This makes the SM WR FR a robust and durable solution for reliable temperature control within the selected operating range.
