SUNEX Fish S4X – standing buffer storage for heating systems

Properties

The SUNEX Fish S4X is a standing buffer tank designed for use with solid fuel, oil, gas, heat pump and electric boilers. Numerous connections enable integration into a wide variety of heating systems as well as the combination of several storage units to form batteries in order to adapt the total capacity to individual needs.

Optionally, an additional heat exchanger can be installed to support the heating system with a solar system. Models with a capacity of 200-500 liters are also suitable for storing chilled water (7-12 °C).

Made of S235JR steel and processed using automatic welding, the memory meets high industrial standards. The maximum operating pressure is 3 bar, the test or maximum test pressure is 4.5 bar. The maximum operating temperature is 95 °C.

A 50 mm thick polyurethane foam insulation with a replaceable PVC foil layer is provided for storage volumes of 200–500 liters. For larger versions (800–1000 l), a graphite polyester fleece with a 100 mm thick insulation layer is used; the outer jacket is gray.

Areas of application

The buffer storage is suitable for single and multi-family homes, commercial buildings and systems with combined heat supply. The flexible connection design makes the storage particularly suitable for non-standard installations and modular storage systems.
