Product description

The 4.5 kW 1½" external thread cartridge heater is an efficient emergency heater for buffer tanks, drinking water storage tanks, and solar storage tanks. Thanks to its robust construction, it is suitable for continuous operation and ensures consistent heat distribution.

Powerful heating technology

With a power output of 4,500 W and an operating voltage of 3~400 V, this heating cartridge heats your storage tanks quickly and reliably. The installation length of 450 mm and the unheated zone of approximately 120 mm allow for use in enameled tanks and steel-walled storage tanks.

Regulation and safety

The continuously adjustable thermostat (30–75°C) allows for precise temperature adjustment for various applications. An integrated safety thermostat (STL) reliably shuts off at 98°C, protecting your system from overheating.

Material and protection

The Incoloy 825 (2.4858) tube jacket ensures first-class corrosion resistance. The insulating separation prevents galvanic reactions, while the ABS plastic housing and brass screw head provide additional protection. IP54 protection ensures safety in humid environments.

Areas of application

Ideal for use in PV batteries, solar storage tanks, buffer tanks, and drinking water storage tanks. Thanks to the high-quality materials, the heating element can also be used in enameled and steel-walled storage tanks without risk of corrosion damage.
