The Attack SLX 25 Pro is a wood gasification boiler for water-based heating systems and is typically suitable for single-family homes, vacation homes, as well as smaller workshops or similar properties. The unit is designed for burning dry split wood and combines classic log firing with controlled wood gasification for predictable daily heating operation.

Technology & Equipment

The boiler operates on the principle of wood gasification with an induced draft fan. The boiler body is made of 6 mm thick steel plate, the loading chamber is constructed with a dry jacket, and combustion takes place via a fireclay nozzle in the lower combustion chamber. A tube heat exchanger with turbulators is located at the rear. In the Pro version, control is based on boiler and flue gas temperature; the controller manages fan operation and supports power modulation.

System Integration & Compatibility

The Attack SLX 25 Pro is intended for integration into a water-based heating system with a buffer tank. The manufacturer also recommends a return temperature boost to prevent the return temperature from falling below 65 °C. A functional cooling circuit is provided for overheat protection. It is best used in well-planned wood heating systems with a properly sized chimney, buffer tank, and the necessary safety components.

Installation

Installation must be carried out by a qualified specialist company. The boiler belongs in a suitable boiler room, not in living spaces or hallways. For operation, a properly sized chimney, sufficient combustion air, correct hydraulic integration, and the required safety components must be provided. Sufficient space for operation and maintenance must be planned in front of the boiler.

Notes

The boiler is intended for dry split wood with a moisture content of 12 to 20%. The manufacturer recommends against continuous operation below 50% output. For safe and material-friendly operation, a return temperature boost, a functioning cooling circuit, and regular cleaning are important. Before initial startup, the loading chamber should be checked for included documents and inserted parts.
