Scope of delivery:

• 1x fireclay brick at the bottom (set of right and left bricks)
• 1x firebrick top front
• 1x firebrick top rear
• 1x fireclay nozzle for tertiary air supply
• 1x Adhesive for the fireclay nozzle (high temperature resistant) 50 ml

Why does fireclay deteriorate over time?

Due to its high mineral content, fireclay also has a slight disadvantage:

It is relatively brittle.

Due to prolonged exposure to high heat, it will eventually develop cracks.

These are initial signs of wear and tear on the material, but not yet a reason for replacement.

Fireclay should only be replaced when parts of the material fall out and the protection of the oven can no longer be guaranteed.

Therefore, the fireclay should always be checked during the maintenance of a fireplace.
