The ATMOS pellet boilers of the P series with wood emergency operation (ATMOS P series – formerly D..P series) are available in the following versions: ATMOS ATMOS P20, ATMOS P30, ATMOS P40, and ATMOS P50. These boilers are characterized by their automatic, compact, low-maintenance, and user-friendly pellet heating systems. Depending on the model, the nominal heat output ranges from 22 to 45 kW for 6-8 mm wood pellets. This allows the pellet boilers in this ATMOS series to meet the heating needs of single-family and multi-family homes. To ensure continued heat generation in the event of a pellet malfunction, these boilers also offer the option of temporarily switching to a wood-burning emergency mode. The P20 (formerly D20P) is equipped with the ATMOS A25 pellet burner, while the P30, P40, and P50 feature the ATMOS A45 pellet burner. Depending on the layout of the boiler, the burners can be mounted on either the left or right side. This offers the advantage of quick and easy cleaning of the boiler, regardless of its position in the boiler room. The pellet feed to the ATMOS P boiler, as with our other pellet boiler series, is via an auger from a separate ATMOS silo, textile storage unit, or on-site storage room. Depending on the application, we offer augers in lengths between 1.5 m and 5.0 m. Since the reliability of its pellet boilers is paramount for ATMOS, even the P series with wood-burning emergency operation features a straight-running auger system. The ATMOS P20 has proven particularly effective in single-family homes, as it has an additional induced draft fan. This fan ensures smoke-free operation during wood-burning emergency operation, should the existing chimney have insufficient draft. This also applies to the P30, P40, and P50 pellet boilers. All boilers in this series are eligible for BAFA funding. This means that the total costs for installing this heating system are subsidized by up to 45%.

Expansion options for ATMOS pellet boilers with wood emergency operation

For added convenience, the pellet boiler can optionally be retrofitted with an automatic ash removal system, which conveys the ash residue into a collection box located in front of the boiler. Another option is the retrofittable compressed air blow-out system (compatible with the ATMOS A25 and A45 pellet burners), which is highly recommended, especially when using inexpensive pellets.
