CALORI pellet boilers – compact, efficient and low-emission

Brief description

The CALORI pellet boiler is a compact, high-performance heating boiler for wood pellets (6 mm diameter) and is particularly suitable for small installation spaces. Thanks to its slim design and the pellet hopper positioned directly above the heat exchanger, the boiler can be installed in a space-saving manner.

Technical data

Available rated outputs include 15 kW and 24 kW; the series covers a wide power range from approximately 11 to 30 kW. The unit meets emission class 5 and the requirements of the Ecodesign Standard and is rated energy efficiency class A+.

Fuel and burner

The burner uses 6 mm diameter wood pellets as fuel. The standard pellet burner features an automatic cleaning function, reducing maintenance. It also includes automatic ignition for convenient and reliable starting.

Heat exchanger and efficiency

The heat exchanger is made of certified stainless steel and equipped with integrated turbulators that recover more heat from the exhaust gases. This allows the boiler to achieve thermal efficiencies of approximately 92.9 to 94.3%.

Control and operation

The modern APCK Slim controller with touchscreen ensures intuitive operation. It offers PID functionality, automatic ignition, and can control multiple pumps and a mixing valve as standard; four pumps can be controlled as standard, but the APCK Slim is capable of operating up to six pumps and a heating circuit mixer. Optional internet or GSM modules are available, enabling control via the eModul app or remote access.

Adaptive Control, exhaust gas management and ventilation

The ADAPTIVE CONTROL system adjusts boiler operation based on the airflow through the heat exchanger, further optimizing efficiency and fuel consumption. An exhaust fan stabilizes the chimney draft and prevents fluctuations, ensuring safe and consistent operation.

Installation and maintenance

The compact design and the pellet hopper positioned above the unit allow for installation in very confined spaces. Installation in closed systems is possible, provided the safety requirements outlined in the technical documentation are met. The tube heat exchanger is designed for quick and easy cleaning.

Scope of delivery and accessories

The package includes a touchscreen, APCK Slim control unit, PID function, automatic ignition, and the pellet burner with automatic cleaning. Optional accessories include GSM modules, various I-modules (I-1, I-1M), internet modules (LAN, WiFi), several room thermostats (e.g., ST-292 v2/v3, DEFRO SPK Lux), wireless room thermostats, a set for wireless RS communication, and a footrest.

Safety and guarantee

The warranty covers the heat exchanger's leak-tightness for 5 years and other parts, as well as the boiler's proper functioning, for 2 years. These warranty conditions apply to boilers purchased from authorized partners in the Czech Republic. Safe commissioning and maintenance should be carried out in accordance with the enclosed technical documentation.
