GEMA heating element 230 V 2 kW for suitable storage tanks and tanks
The GEMA heating element 230 V 2 kW is an electric screw-in heater for direct heating of suitable liquids in appropriate storage tanks, buffer tanks, hot water heaters, solar systems, and storage tanks. It is suitable as an electric auxiliary heater in systems where connection, installation space, medium, and electrical supply match the product.
Technology and equipment
The heating element has a tubular heating element made of Incoloy steel, a head with a 1 1/2-inch thread connection, and a plastic housing to protect the electronics. The operating temperature can be set via the thermostat in the range of 5 to 70 °C. An ECO-POINT marking supports temperature setting, while the operating indicator light makes the operating status visible. Additionally, a safety temperature limiter with 87 °C is integrated.
Application area and system integration
The electric heating element can be used in technically suitable storage and tank systems. Before installation, the thread connection, sealing surface, immersion length, unheated zone, installation space, medium, and electrical supply must be checked. The heating element is intended for suitable liquids and suitable operating conditions.
Operation and temperature control
The temperature is set via the integrated thermostat. The setting range of 5 to 70 °C allows application-related adaptation to the respective storage operation. The operating indicator light shows the operating status. The safety temperature limiter serves as an additional protective function and must not be bridged or manipulated.

Installation instructions
Installation may only be carried out in a technically suitable storage tank, container, or tank. Before screwing in, the system, connection, and sealing surface must be prepared. The storage tank must be properly filled and vented before the heating element is switched on. The electrical connection and testing of protective measures must be carried out by qualified specialist personnel.
Safety and operation
The heating element must not be operated dry and must be sufficiently surrounded by the medium during operation. Cables, housing, and connection area should be checked for visible damage before commissioning and regularly during operation. In the event of malfunctions, leaks, unusual noises, or odors, operation must be stopped and the system checked by a specialist.
