Product Overview & Application Area
The ROJEK KTP 30 is a manually fed solid fuel boiler with a nominal output of 30 kW for warm-water central heating systems. It is designed for log wood and suitable lignite; other suitable biomass can be used within the respective fuel approval. The boiler is suitable for residential and commercially used buildings, provided that the heating load, system hydraulics, and chimney are matched to the output and operating conditions.
The KTP 30 operates without a fan and without electronic boiler control. This means that no electrical connection is required for the actual boiler operation. In addition to integration into systems with pump circulation, a correspondingly planned gravity-based system is also possible.
Technology & Equipment
The two-stage combustion principle combines a high proportion of gasification with classic burn-off. Primary and secondary air can be regulated and adjusted to the fuel and chimney draft. The combustion and filling chamber has a volume of 75.3 liters and accommodates log wood up to 530 mm in length and up to 200 mm in diameter.
The KTP 30 can already be adapted to different installation situations at the factory. The door hinge is located on the right as standard and is optionally available on the left. The flue gas outlet is executed vertically as standard and can be ordered horizontally as a factory option. In addition, a cleaning opening is available for both the vertical and horizontal flue gas outlet versions. The desired version must be specified when ordering.
Everyday Advantages
The electricity-free boiler operation does not require a fan or electronic boiler control. The mechanical combustion air control, easily accessible combustion and cleaning areas, and the possibility of different approved solid fuels result in a robust system solution for manual heating operation.
When operating with log wood, the KTP 30 achieves an efficiency of 89.0% and boiler class 5. With lignite, the efficiency is 87.5% and boiler class 4. For both main fuels, the boiler meets the Ecodesign requirements.
System Integration & Compatibility
The required chimney draft for the ROJEK KTP 30 is between 16 and 20 Pa. The flue gas connection has a diameter of 160 mm. For proper system operation, a return temperature of at least 55 °C must be maintained; a favorable operating range for the return is approximately 63 to 65 °C.
As a guideline, a buffer tank with at least 1,200 liters is recommended. The actual sizing of the buffer tank, return temperature boosting, pumps, expansion vessel, and safety devices must be matched to the heating load and system hydraulics. For the KTP 30, a suitable pellet burner system is also available for later conversion to automatic pellet operation.

Installation
Installation, hydraulic connection, thermal safety devices, and flue gas connection must be carried out by appropriately qualified specialist personnel. The chimney must reliably provide the required draft range of 16 to 20 Pa. When planning the installation, the selected flue pipe configuration, the door hinge side, and sufficient space for operation, cleaning, and maintenance must be taken into account.
Notes
The right-hand door hinge and the vertical flue gas outlet represent the standard configuration. A left-hand door hinge, horizontal flue gas outlet, and a cleaning opening on the flue pipe are available as factory options and must be specified when ordering. A permanently too low return temperature as well as unsuitable or too moist fuel can promote the formation of condensate, tar, and corrosion.
