SUNEX Fish S4X – Vertical buffer tank for heating systems

Characteristics

The SUNEX Fish S4X is a vertical buffer storage tank designed for use with solid fuel, oil, gas, heat pump, and electric boilers. Numerous connections allow for integration into a wide variety of heating systems and the combination of multiple storage tanks into batteries to adapt the total capacity to individual needs.

An additional heat exchanger can be optionally installed to support the heating system with a solar panel. Models with a capacity of 200–500 liters are also suitable for storing chilled water (7–12 °C).

Manufactured from S235JR steel and assembled using automatic welding, the accumulator meets high industrial standards. The maximum operating pressure is 3 bar, and the test or maximum test pressure is 4.5 bar. The maximum operating temperature is 95°C.

For storage volumes of 200–500 liters, a 50 mm thick polyurethane foam insulation with a replaceable PVC foil layer is provided. For larger models (800–1000 liters), a graphite polyester fleece with a 100 mm thick insulation layer is used; the outer casing is gray.

Areas of application

The buffer storage tank is suitable for single-family and multi-family homes, commercial buildings, and combined heat and power systems. Its flexible connection design makes it particularly well-suited for non-standardized installations and modular storage systems.
