The ETWS hot water tank with a volume of 100 liters offers reliable and central heating of domestic water for households and small businesses. A highly efficient internal heat exchanger transfers heat energy from a solar thermal system or a boiler to the drinking water, thus providing permanently warm water.

A connection for a 1 1/2" electric heating element is available for retrofitting, which means the system can be easily combined with photovoltaic or electric additional heating. The compact design with high-quality thermal insulation ensures low heat losses and high operational reliability.

Advantages

The storage tank offers a very good price-performance ratio and high hot water convenience for a requirement of around 100 to 180 liters. By combining it with solid fuel, pellet or solar thermal systems, the storage system is versatile and ideal for modern heating systems.

Mounting & Connection

The hot water tank is designed for connection to boilers, solar thermal systems and combination boilers. The standardized connection threads make installation easier; When connecting, pay attention to the positions of the flow, return and circulation as well as the opening provided for an electric heating element.

Product description

The OWR1 heating element with 2 kW output is a compact, robust electric heating element for use in drinking and domestic water storage tanks, boilers and buffer storage tanks. It works at 230 V and is equipped with a standardized connection thread of 1 1/2".

The horizontal installation type and the installation length of 360 mm allow flexible application options. An externally mounted controller allows you to easily set the target temperature, and the heating element is supplied with a Schuko plug so that no additional adapter is necessary.

Installation & Assembly

The heating rod can be quickly assembled using the standardized thread. Before installation, the device and memory must be switched off and the installation opening cleaned. Proper sealing of the thread is important to prevent leaks.

If unsure, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or heating installer, particularly to ensure correct electrical connections and grounding.

Security & Operation

The integrated safety temperature limiter at 85 °C protects against overheating. The continuous adjustment via the external regulator enables temperatures of around 20 °C to 70 °C for daily operation. Always disconnect the power supply before carrying out maintenance work.
