The PE-Xc/AL/PE-RT composite pipe is a pipe with a butt-welded aluminum layer, which is both dimensionally stable and bend-resistant.

The Wavin multi-layer composite pipe for plumbing and heating consists of a
internal cross-linked polyethylene pipe (PE-X),
an outer pipe made of PE-HD and an intermediate blunt
welded aluminum tube.
The three tubes are homogeneously connected to each other using an adhesion promoter.
This results in a pipe structure of a total of five layers.
