The electric heating element is a powerful heating cartridge with insulation, ideal for use in buffer tanks, drinking water storage tanks, and enamel-lined solar storage tanks. With a 1½" external thread connection, it is easy to install and integrates seamlessly into existing systems.

Structure and functionality

The heating element is made of a corrosion-resistant tubular sheath material (Incoloy 825), ensuring maximum reliability even during continuous operation. The insulation reliably prevents galvanic corrosion in the storage tank.

A continuously adjustable thermostat allows temperature selection between 30 °C and 75 °C. The integrated safety temperature limiter (STB) automatically intervenes at 98 °C, thus protecting against overheating.

Areas of application

The heating element is universally applicable in everything from buffer tanks and drinking water storage tanks to enameled steel storage tanks in solar and heating systems. It can also be easily integrated as an emergency heater for photovoltaic systems.

Assembly instructions

Installation is via the 1½" male thread connection. Ensure a suitable installation length and tank diameter to ensure safe and effective heat transfer.

Before commissioning, you should check whether the safety temperature limiter is working correctly and that all electrical connections have been made correctly.
